The Daily Mirror newspaper in the UK is reporting that Derek Hough has decided to quit DWTS so he can spend some time with Cheryl Cole. Obviously this would be huge news for DWTS if it's true. As well as being an excellent dancer and choreographer, he has won the thing three times and has a significant fan base.
Cheryl has moved to the US to appear on the US version of the Simon Cowell owned hit show X-Factor. Derek recently helped her choose somewhere to live.
Well, it might give someone else the chance to win!
I hope this isn't true. I love to see what he is going to do next. But it is hard to keep a great dancer challenged. If he does leave, I wish him well.
