Live from the First DWTS Results Show of the Season!

Wow, my TV's so good it's like I'm there in person!

DL Hughley was the lowest scoring celeb, but it's never a done deal!

Started out with a great group number from the pros and the troupe. Quality as always!

All 12 couples are up.

The first couple safe is Ingo and Kym! Straight into it!

Sean and Peta are safe!

Wynonna and Tony join them as safe.

The first couple in jeopardy is Victor and Lindsay.

With no surprise to anyone Zendaya and Val got the most tweets for the encore dance. It was a top trend on twitter...

And it was pretty good (again).

Next up are Aly and Mark - and they're safe.

Here's DL...and he's SAFE!!!! Oh my. It must be Victor or Lisa who's going home.

Lisa and Gleb, despite her willingness to sleep with Len, they are in jeopardy.

Three more couples are up - Karina/Jacoby, Kellie/Derek, Zendaya/Val.

Zendaya is safe. Duh.

Kellie is safe. Double duh.

Jacoby is safe. Triple duh.

Josh Groban. He can carry a tune. Nice to see Dmitry Chaplin and Chelsie Hightower on the dance floor.

Two couples left - Dorothy/Tristan and Andy/Sharna.

Dorothy is safe.

Andy joins Lisa and Victor as the last three.

The next couple safe is Andy and Sharna.

And Dorothy and Tristan come out from behind the curtain. Dorothy is withdrawing from the show!

Her spine specialist advised against carrying on.

This means no one is eliminated (and we don't know who was bottom!) and Dorothy Hamill is leaving (just to be clear).

Awh.

See you next week - it's Prom Night!

Week 2 Live Blog/DL Hughley Farewell Dance

DL is going to have to do VERY well indeed to recover from his scores last week. It would be amazing if he did!

Last week's scores are combined with this week's.

So, straight into the couples, no messing around tonight!

Ingo Rademacher and Kym Johnson - Quickstep - 6/7/7=20 - He's a pretty good performer, and can dance too. The routine was little boring I think. Len was smiling. Bruno thought it was a bonanza of tricky steps. Carrie-Ann thought his frame was a problem. She and Len squabbled. Total = 40.

Dorothy Hamill and Tristan MacManus - Jive - 5/5/5=15 - Tristan has cool hair, Dorothy has an injury. Nice performance but am I the only one who thinks she's hesitant? Bruno thought she made lots of mistakes. Carrie Ann told her not to let fear in. Len thought it was a mess. Total=36.

Jacoby Jones and Karina Smirnoff - Jazz - 8/7/8=23 - cute kids in the preview, high performance dancing - he can't go wrong! He must be one of the favorites to win the whole thing. Carrie Ann said it was rocking and that Jacoby's lines were fantastic. Len thoroughly enjoyed it. Bruno thought he was a performer. Total=43

Victor Ortiz and Lindsay Arnold - Jive - 6/6/6=18 - better technically, still a little tentative I think. Great smile! Len thought it could have been sharper. Bruno thought his "bom" was sticking out. Carrie Ann accidentally banged her head on the table. Hmm. Total=36.

Wynonna Judd and Tony Dovolani - Quickstep - 6/6/6=18 - dressed as cops from a 70s revue and entering on some very slow scooters. Went down from there. Bruno admired her assets. Carrie Ann thought they were "on the right track". Len didn't think they got out of first gear. Total=36.

Zendaya Coleman and Val Chmerkovskiy - Jive - 9/8/9=26 - Zendaya doesn't seem to be an expert in heels. She can dance though. Excellent jive - both performance and choreography. Wow said Carrie Ann. Fantastic said Len. "A star is born" expressed Bruno. Total=50.

Andy Dick and Sharna Burgess - Jazz - 7/6/7=20 - he actually got the steps down, was dressed as the Mad Hatter and was a trifle manic. Same old Andy! Fun performance! Len said he didn't know what to say. Bruno loved it. Carrie said things like wacko and demented. Total=37.

Sean Lowe and Peta Murgatroyd - Jive - 7/6/7=20 - it was OK. Not as aggressive as last week but he followed the steps better. Sean was dressed as a life guard, Bruno wanted to be saved. Solid said Carrie Ann. Len didn't get it at all. Eric Roberts shouted out that Len was grumpy. Duh. Total = 39.

Alexandra Raisman and Mark Ballas - Quickstep. - 8/8/8 = 24 - excellent. Best quickstep of the night said Carrie Ann. Len thought it was terrific. Bruno waxed poetic. Total = 45.

Lisa Vanderpump and Gleb Savchenko - jive -6/6/6=18 - fun dance, concentrated on Gleb rather than Lisa. Although it was borderline sexist - a pilot feeling up an air stewardess. Len thought it was a bit stiff. Bruno waved his hands. Not sure what Carrie Ann said. Total = 36

DL Hughley and Cheryl Burke - Quickstep - 5/5/6=16 - MUCH better than last week. Still can't dance though. Bruno could see he worked hard. Carrie Ann thought he was on the right track. Len said he was better than last week. Total = 28

Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough - Jazz - 9/8/9=26 - fantastic choreography. Kellie did so well. Carrie Ann said Kellie was a dancer. Len was relatively effusive. Bruno just was. Total = 47

Well even though he was much better than last week DL must be the overwhelming favorite to be eliminated.

We'll find out tomorrow on the results show which has Josh Groban and other goodies!

Live from Dancing with the Stars Season 16!

Well, from my living room.

With the TV on.

Nice to get back into the grove of a regular season! A good group of celebrities, some new professionals. Life is good!

Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough - Cha Cha Cha - 7/7/7 = 21 - damn Kellie is good. Nice lines. bright smile. Yum yum said Len. The shapes of things to come said Bruno. Carrie Ann - incredible torso movement.

Victor Ortiz and Lindsay Arnold - Foxtrot - 6/6/6=18 - a little stiff but he's following instructions he has obviously memorized. Pretty good for the first week. All the judges said nice things apart from Len who thought it was a bit "uneventful".

Ingo Rademacher - Contemporary - 7/6/7=20 - lots of jumpin' abaht, but that's the style of dance. He was pretty good. Carrie Ann thought it was great, Len didn't like it at all, Bruno said it was good.

Lisa Vanderpump and Gleb Savchenko - 6/6/6=18 - good start, couple of missteps but ok. Gleb looked good. Len thought it was acceptable.

DL Hughley and Cheryl Burke - Cha Cha Cha - 4/4/4=12 - oh dear. Stiff as Mr McStiffy with arthritis. Bruno didn't know what to do with it. Yikes said Carrie Ann. Len thought it was rough. They were all very kind.

Zendaya and Valentin Chmerkovskiy - Contemporary - 8/8/8=24 - excellent. But then again, she is a dancer. Superb, great etc. etc. said the judges.

Sean Lowe and Peta Murgatroyd - Foxtrot - 7/6/6=19 - good for week 1, some nice enthusiasm. Len thought it was OK, Bruno liked it but thought it was a bit rough, Carrie Ann said she likes it rough. Sigh.

Aly Raisman and Mark Ballas - Cha Cha Cha - 7/7/7=21 - gosh, I hate fringes. Alexandra was very good, couple of missteps but great potential. Judges liked.

Dorothy Hamill and Tristan MacManus - Contemporary - xx - I don't like contemporary, it doesn't fit. So this was ok, arms needed work. Judges loved it - shows what I know!

Wynonna Judd and Tony Dovolani - Cha Cha Cha - 6/6/6=18 - better than DL. Could be fun if she goes further and dances a bit. Judges thought it was OK.

Andy Dick and Sharna Burgess - Foxtrot - 6/5/6=17 - my favorite of the night. High on performance, not so high on skill. Bruno enjoyed it. It touched Carrie Ann. Len thought it was as smooth as Robocop.

Jacoby Jones and Karina Smirnoff - Cha Cha Cha - 7/6/7=20 - the man can dance. And perform. "A medley of touchdown dances" - Carrie Ann. Len didn't like it. Bruno did.

No elimination this week. The scores get added to next week's and someone goes home next Tuesday
