She made her debut on the big screen last fall in the thriller “Sorority Row.” Other film credits include the action-adventure film “Into the Blue 2” and “Honey 2.” She has also tested her hand at comedy, appearing on an episode of the sitcom “Do Not Disturb” and in a hilarious skit for “MAD TV.” Last summer Patridge made headlines steaming up TV screens in a commercial for Carl’s Jr. This July she became the latest Bongo girl, shooting the fall advertising campaign with famed photographer Tony Duran.

MIKE “THE SITUATION” SORRENTINO – Mike Sorrentino has become one of Hollywood’s emerging talents. Born in Staten Island, New York and raised in Manalapan, New Jersey, Sorrentino is most known for starring on the hit show “The Jersey Shore,” now in its second season on MTV. He graduated from Manalapan High School and went on to college in NJ. After graduation in 2004, he tried his hand at personal training, fitness modeling and soon after was scouted for an upcoming reality show which would eventually become “The Jersey Shore.” The show caught fire, becoming one of the highest rated shows in MTV history, and propelled “The Situation” into pop culture phenomenon. In 2007 he led the Cardinals to their first ever Super Bowl berth, was voted to his fourth Pro Bowl and surpassed several Cardinals franchise records, including touchdowns, attempts, completions, completion percentage and passer rating. Warner’s gridiron accomplishments pale in comparison to the dedication he shows to the community. In 2001 he and his wife, Brenda, established the First Things First Foundation, a non-profit public charity dedicated to impacting lives by promoting Christian values, sharing experiences and providing opportunities to encourage everyone to believe that all things are possible when people seek to put first things first. Warner was born and raised in Iowa and played college football at the University of Northern Iowa. He lives in Arizona with his wife and seven children.

My Guesses for Season 11 of Dancing with the Stars

And yes, they really are guesses.  Every season I put together a list of who will be on Dancing with the Stars, and every season I'm about half right.  Why?  Because I believe all the media reports!

And this season is no different...  It's not that I'm gullible, it's just that I really don't have anything else to base it on!

We'll find out tonight during Bachelor Pad who is actually on, and we can see how many I get right!

See - I Told You Corky Was Going to be in Season 11

I was thinking to myself this morning, and actually wrote it in this blog post - maybe Corky Ballas will be on season 11 if Florence Henderson is on season 11. And lo, and behold, here's a story from TMZ:

Carol Brady to Mark Ballas -- Who's Yo Daddy?

Basically it says Corky will be on the show as Florence's partner.

I wonder if their "source" was me?

Which Professional Dancers are in Season 11 of Dancing with the Stars?

We'll find out which celebrities are appearing in the new season on Monday evening during The Bachelor Pad.  But we won't find out the pairings until Wednesday morning on Good Morning America (according to a Facebook post by Louis van Amstel)!

I've put together a list of the probable professional dancers.  A lot (but not all!) of the information comes from Pure DWTS.  I recommend checking them out!

Here's a list of the professionals that are probably in:

      MEN
      • Derek Hough - tweeted "The season is abt 2 begin , hope everyone is excited .. High five", plus there would be riots if he wasn't in!
      • Mark Ballas - tweeted "Just got some pretty cool news.. ;)"
      • Tony Dovolani - he's flying into LA and tweeted "One more day home then ............"
      • Louis van Amstel - also flying into LA and posted that the professionals would be officially announced on Wednesday
      • Maksim Chmerkovskiy - tweeted "I got waaaays to go before I'm at my 'peak' and 3 weeks 'till I have to get there ;)"
      WOMEN
      • Lacey Schwimmer - just went out and told everyone on Twitter
      • Cheryl Burke - is getting exciting news today (Friday)
The professionals that are definitely not appearing are Dmitry Chaplin, Jonathan Roberts, Damian Whitewood, Anna Demidova, Ashley Costa and Julianne Hough.

      Who's left?

Well, on the men's side the only one of the "regulars" left is Alec Mazo.  Alec doesn't give much away!  I also think that if someone like Florence Henderson is appearing they may pair them with Corky Ballas, as they did with Cloris Leachman.

One the women's side there are five "regulars" left - Kym Johnson, Karina Smirnoff, Edyta Sliwinska, Chelsie Hightower and Anna Trebuskaya.  Assuming there are six male and six female celebrities that would imply one is not appearing.

Bristol Palin to Appear on Dancing with the Stars???

NEW YORK - MAY 05: Bristol Palin attends The Candie's Foundation Event To Prevent at Cipriani 42nd Street on May 5, 2010 in New York City. (Photo by Astrid Stawiarz/Getty Images)E! Online is claiming, in an exclusive, that Bristol Palin - yes Sarah's daughter - will be appearing on season 11.

I have to say I find this difficult to believe.

People complain about the reality stars on the show, but this is stretching "star" to it's limits!  Plus I would be surprised that someone who aspires to high political office would be happy with their daughter appearing on DWTS!

Other than refering to 'sources" E! Online don't have any real details.  Although, they do point out she had a guest spot on The Secret Life of the American Teenager a month or two ago - an ABC show.

I'm going to layer this with a thick dollop of scepticism I think!

Kirstie Alley says she's not doing DWTS

Yesterday, one of the hot rumors was that Kirstie Alley would be on season 11 of Dancing with the Stars, her partner being Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Well, she posted the following tweet this morning:
Lol... Just a rumor... Imagine that. NOT doing DWTS this season... Way too chicken!! Maybe next season if Im invited again!!!
That's a shame!  I think she would have been fun.  Interesting to note she said "...if I'm invited again".

      Moving on...

Kirstie Alley and Maks in Season 11?

Mar 16, 2010 - New York, New York, USA - Actress KIRSTIE ALLEY arrives for her appearance on 'The Late Show With David Letterman' held at the Ed Sullivan Theater. © Red Carpet PicturesIn Touch Weekly has a short report stating that Kirstie Alley will be appearing in season 11; and that her partner will be Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

The Kirstie Rumor has been around for a few seasons - mainly because Kirstie seems to be constantly lobbying the producers.  Perhaps, there is some truth in it this time particularly as it has specific detail i.e. who her partner is - Maks.

I'm pretty sure Maks won't be happy - Kirstie hasn't got much chance of winning and I'm not sure she would take it as seriously as Maks would want her to.

I think she's going to be great - funny, happy and larger than life.  I also think she won't be around that long, but who knows - she may not even be appearing!

      Pre-Season 11 Rumor Round-up

After a very dry summer on the rumor front there have been a number of seemingly legitimate celebrities popping up in the tabloids over the last few days.

Here's a list of the what seems to be the more legitimate rumors that have become more active recently

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino - the "Jersey Shore" star was rumored to be in talks a month or so ago, and various sources now say he is booked

Michael Bolton - the singer has only recently become a candidate, but there are multiple sources that claim he has, at least, been in negotiations

David Hasselhoff - a relatively late-breaking rumor has the Baywatch star following pamela ANderson onto the dance floor

Brandy - the singer has been a rumor for a few seasons but PerezHilton.com claimed on Monday that she was a go

Audrina Partridge - "The Hills" star was also cited by PerezHilton.com as being on the show

Ali and Roberto - "The Bachelorette" couple were rumored to be on the show by Reality Steve a few weeks back.  That has been confirmed by a couple of sources this week.

There are more rumors of course with Kurt Warner seeming to be a lock despite only one report of his particiation in the show (from The Washington Post).  others include Landon Donovan and Ryan O'Neal.

      We'll find out next Monday!

Kurt Warner Dances on the Ellen Show

The hottest rumor for Dancing with the Stars season 11 is that Kurt Warner has signed up for the show.

Kurt appeared on The Ellen Show last year and shook his stuff as he came out to talk to her.

Have a look - do you think he's Mirror Ball material?

Kurt Warner for Dancing with the Stars

Feb 6, 2010; Hollywood, FL, USA; Kurt Warner speaks at the Super Bowl Breakfast at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa. A Quarterback walks out of a restaurant.  Spots a TMZ cameraman and says "I'm doing Dancing with the Stars".  Oh, wait.  that was Troy Aikman last week.

Troy subsequently claimed he was joking, but we have another future Hall of Fame QB rumored to be joining the show - Kurt Warner.

A source tells the Washington Post that Kurt will be appearing in season 11 - no more detail than that.

If true, Kurt would be the first QB in a long line of football celebrities.
